What are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

What area do you cover?

We cover a wide area including all of Hampshire, and some parts of West Sussex, Surrey and Dorset.

Why do you not give an exact time?

Our aim is to provide a reliable service, due to the length of time some ovens take to clean and traffic when travelling between jobs we cannot commit to an exact time. We will always try to accommodate our customers wishes by providing a smaller time frame the night before or avoiding certain times, such as school runs.

Do you clean the door?

Yes, where possible we will remove the door and split the 2 glass panes, allowing for a through clean between the glass which is often missed.

Do you clean the racks?

We clean all racks that come with the oven, including the shelves and grill pan.

Can I use my oven immediately?

Yes, your oven will be ready to use straight away, although some residual burn off may cause the oven to smell/smoke for the first use after cleaning.

How long does it take?

The length of time a clean takes depends on various factors. How often the oven is used, how dirty the oven is and the size of the oven. Typically, a single oven takes between 1-2 hours, a double oven between 2-3 hours and a range can be 3 hours+

Do you require access to anything?

We need room around the oven and access to the sink for water.

How can I pay?

We accept cash or card payments.

Are you insured?

Yes, we hold public liability insurance.

Are you qualified?

Yes, we hold a British oven cleaning certificate award.

How often should I have my oven cleaned?

1 in 4 ovens in the UK are not working to their full potential due to grease, dirt and carbon build up, this results in food not cooking evenly and temperatures not being reached. This can result in undercooked food and the potential for bacteria. For an oven that is used every day we would recommend that it is cleaned every 6 months.

Why should I use a professional oven cleaner?

A professional oven cleaner will clean your oven to a much higher standard than a store brought cleaner. We will take apart all the removable parts of the oven including the glass on the doors and thoroughly clean behind them. Store brought oven cleaner is also usually highly caustic and often requires to be left on overnight. When you use a professional oven cleaner the job is usually completed within the time frames specified above and then you are good to go.

Will there be a mess?

No, we will always clean up after ourselves leaving your kitchen exactly the way we found it.

What if I need to go out whilst you are here?

We are happy to be left to continue the clean whilst you are out if you are happy to do so.

Do you provide replacement parts?

No, we do not provide replacement parts as there are so many different types of ovens it would be impossible for us to carry parts for all types.

My oven is self cleaning, surely that means I don’t need to get it cleaned?

The panels of a self cleaning oven are designed to burn off fat and food residue at very high temperatures. Most domestic ovens are incapable of reaching a temperature high enough to produce the most effective results. The self cleaning panels are also on the sides so when they do burn off any residue, it all falls to the bottom of the oven and fat often spits in every direction.  This means that the oven will still need to be cleaned.

Are there any extra charges?

No, the prices you see are the prices you pay.

Do you protect the floor?

Yes, we will place sheets down to collect any dirt which may fall from the oven.
